Pawnee Student Artwork Gets Published
by Kari Krebs
A big congratulations goes out to Erin Chacon! Erin submitted a Texas themed drawing with the hopes of being printed in the Texas Register. Her artwork was selected to be placed in the March 12th edition of the weekly publication. Students in grades K - 12 throughout the state of Texas are asked to submit a drawing to decorate the cover and pages throughout the Texas Register journal.
“The Texas Register serves as the journal of state agency rulemaking for Texas. Information published in the Texas Register includes proposed, adopted, withdrawn and emergency rule actions, notices of state agency review of agency rules, governor's appointments, attorney general opinions, and miscellaneous documents such as requests for proposals. After adoption, these rulemaking actions are codified into the Texas Administrative Code.”[1]
Back copies of the Texas Register can be accessed online for up to one year. Using the web address given below, look under the right hand column titled “Points of Interest” and look under “Previous Issues.”
