Pawnee Adopts a Beach

On Saturday, September 24, 2011, the 21stCCLC/ACE students participated in the Fall Adopt a Beach Cleanup in Corpus Christi. The students realize how important it is to have a clean environment not only for the human population but also for the animals that live in and near the water. Despite the very warm temperatures that morning, the students all look forward to the next cleanup. A real treat and surprise was a free pass to the aquarium where the students got to cool off and enjoy looking at the aquatic animals. Meredith H. and Ashley C. were both soaked by the dolphins at the dolphin show.
