Chocolate Brownies

 

Always ask an adult to help you with this recipe!

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 tbls vanilla
  • 1 tbls cocoa
  • 1/1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 cup nuts

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Mix the first 3 ingredients together.
  2. Add the remaining 5 ingredients slowly.
  3. Grease a 13 x 9 pan.
  4. Pour batter in pan.
  5. Bake at 350 degree oven for 15-20 minutes.
  6. Cool for 5-10 minutes.    

REMEMBER FOUR IMPORTANT THINGS BEFORE YOU TRY OUR RECIPES

  1. WASH your hands before and after.
  2. Always ASK an adult for permission.
  3. ASK an adult for help when you need it.
  4. CLEAN UP when you are done.

Serves 12

Nuts can be added on top of brownie mixture before baking instead of mixing into batter.  Want to get creative, add 1 cup of chocolate chips to the mixture before baking.
